A $2000 scholarship to be awarded in May 2027
is offered by the Bull Run Civil War Round Table of Centreville VA.
The scholarship is intended to promote an interest and education about the Civil War as it happened in our local communities.

The Bull Run Civil War Round Table is one of several round tables in the country whose members objectively study and share information about American Civil War history with their communities. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that works to preserve historical sites associated with the Civil War, takes tours of battlefields, invites well known speakers to its meetings and has a top-notch news letter. It earned the 2011 ROUND TABLE OF THE YEAR AWARD from the Civil War Trust, a national organization dedicated to preserving Civil War battlefields. The Round Table has over 380 members and meets the second Thursday of each month at the public library in Centreville, Va. Any person is welcome to attend its meetings and become a member.
